This Privacy Policy explains what data MyReps ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to myreps.cc and related services.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your email, username, and a securely hashed password.
- Profile data: your public profile details, theme, social links, and any custom domain.
- Bot credentials: if you connect a Discord bot, its token is stored encrypted at rest and used only to run your bot.
- Vouch data: the vouches on your profile, which can include the display name, avatar, and Discord user ID of the person leaving the vouch, their message, rating, and any proof image.
- Payment data: metadata about your purchases (plan, amount, reference). Card, crypto, and Cash App payments are handled by third-party processors; we do not store full payment credentials.
- Usage data: anonymous page-view counts and basic technical data used for analytics and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
- To provide and operate the service — host your profile, run your bot, store and display vouches.
- To process subscriptions and deliver plan features.
- To protect the service: detect fraud, spam, and fake or farmed vouches.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and (if configured) email verification and password resets.
- To improve MyReps through aggregated analytics.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for our legitimate interests (security, analytics, preventing fraud), to comply with legal obligations, and — where required — with your consent.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Discord — to run your bot and post vouches to your server.
- Payment processors — to take payments you initiate.
- Infrastructure and email providers — to host the service and send account emails.
- Authorities — where legally required.
Your public profile and its vouches are, by design, visible to anyone with the link.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can delete your profile or account; when you do, associated data (including vouches and any stored bot token) is removed or anonymized, except where we must retain records to comply with the law.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data — passwords are hashed, bot tokens are encrypted, and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most data from your dashboard, or contact us to exercise these rights.
8. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
9. Children
MyReps is not directed to children under 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
